Enforced dancing is more suited to North Korea than a democratic country. I really worry about pinoys who are proud of this video, because they don't seem to realize that we have become the butt of a cruel joke. I saw a CNN special on this on TV and it seemed to me the anchors were very sarcastic about the whole thing and seemed always on the verge of laughing in between snickering to each other.
If it's true, then yes. But do you have any evidence that the dancers in the Olympics were forced to dance? From what I know, on the larger sequences the participants were members of the People's Army and they volunteered to be part of the sequence. Think about it, there are hundreds of millions of soldiers in China, and relatively only a very few slots available for dancers in the Olympics. If anything they must have had a problem with too many people wanting to be a part of the act but too few slots available... not a good analogy at all.
