    Arrow Which is better E8400 vs Q8400


    Mga amigong experts, pls help me decide kung unsa ba maau na processor c2d E8400 ba o quad Q8400?? dati akoang plano paliton E7500 unta, karon nakakita ko didto sa gaisano og Q8400 na enganyo nako paliton kay quad gud og 4mb n cache nya kompara sa E7500 n 3mb ra then medyo gamay ra deperensya and d nako sige upgrade, paliton na unta nako ang proc. pero naay kalit na duha ka customer na kalit ra ni bat-in sa akoa na mas maayo og recommended daw ang E8400 kay mao daw iyahang proc. mas nindot, mas paspas sa gaming and mas dako ang cache size naglibog na noon ko, wala nlang ko nipalit usa kay basin tinood pud ingon nila. unsa gyud ba tinood ani, tan-aw ninyo sulit ba kung quad akong paliton or kining E8400 or basin mo stick nalang ko sa E7500 kay mas barato. mao nlng jud ning kulang nako to complete my gaming rig.

    Mao na ning pc parts akoa ng napalit:

    Gigabyte EP45-UD3L
    Kingmax 2gb 1066mhz Dual
    Palit 9600gt 512mb 256bit
    Western Digital 250gb
    Samsung dvd writer
    Logitech 550watts psu (generic ra kay kulang ang budget)

    Please give me the best suggestion.. salamat kaau

    if u are into multitasking apps/video encoding in your pc then go for the quad...else for general purpose like browsing, games etc...then the E8400 will be a good choice...

    by the way...get the E3110, the Intel Xeon equivalent of the E8400...

    im using E8400 w/ EP45-UD3L

    its ok for games and anything you can throw at it.. ayaw lang nang crysis hehehe


    wala pa may application or gaems nga mu optimize gyud sa quadcore

    There are games already bro that uses all four cores. Prototype is one good example.

    I second the motion. Go for E8400 nalang. Wa pa kaau apps maka optimize sa 4 cores so payter ra kau na imo E8400. Skip the quad nalang then sa next upgrade nimo i7/i9 na. or iphone.

    Bro, nakakita nako og Xeon quad X3220 65nm sa pc express website barato gamay s Q8400 pero inquire p nako within this week kung naa ba sila stock. compatible ba ni sa akoang mobo? nganong server processor nakabutang.. unsa kalainan ana sa desktop? ask lng pud nako bro, kung importante ba nang lithography type s processor (65nm vs 45nm) og ang system bus? (1066mhz vs 1333mhz)
