Default Widely Used Server Operating Systems

Unsa nga OS ang mga pinaka widely used sa industry? Ingun sila kuan daw:
    - Red Hat
    - Fedora
    - FreeBSD

Unsa inyong mga gipang gamit karon?

If you want stability and security, you can't go wrong with *BSD.

    FreeBSD, the power to serve.

  3. #3
Linux, FreeBSD ug OpenBSD. Naa gihapon MS Windows serving games only pero mas daghan gyud ang nag gamit sa open source operating systems kay mas daghan ang mahimo without draining the pocket.
For open source operating systems, gi customized ang kernel ani depende sa services gi offer. For every service pud, naa pud favorite nga OS ang mga administrators based on features and performance.

Ang uso pud karon mao ang virtualization, running multiple operating systems on the same hardware at the same time to maximize hardware utilization. Multiple operating systems at one time with different services running. Pwede pud ikatang into several hardware ang virtualized servers for scalability and performance.

What distro specifically of Linux bro?

  7. #7
For Linux, it does not matter much which distribution ang gamiton.
Gigamit ang Debian, Mandriva, Redhat, CentOS, Fedora ug Ubuntu. Like any other open source OS, ang importante customized ang kernel and services for optimal performance while filters are implemented to only allow necessary traffic.
