USA ka museum nga alang kang Manny Pacquiao tukuron sa di madugay sa South Road Properties (SRP), kon mouyon ang boxing champion sa business proposal ni Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña’s business proposal ug sa iyang ideya sa pagtahod sa People’s Champ.
Ug kon siya mapiling kongresista sa south district, si Osmeña niingon nga ang unang balaudnon nga iyang i-file mao ang pag-grant og citizenship kang American coach Freddie Roach.

“If I become congressman, one of the first bills I want to file is to grant citizenship to Freddie Roach... because he needs the credit. He’s very instrumental in making the Filipinos proud by developing Manny Pacquiao,” nagkanayon si Osmeña kagahapon.
Sa SRP, gusto ni Osmeña nga magkauban ang Manny Pacquiao museum ngadto sa water tank ug lounge area nga tukuron sa welcome hill, nga gastuhan sa Siyudad og P100 milyunes.
Ang museum usa lang ka commercial venture tali kang Pacquiao, kinsa bahinan og porsyento gikan sa kita sa pasilidad diin ang iyang memorabilia ipasundayag.
Nagtuo si Osmeña nga ang museum usa ka tourist attraction ug mopasaka sa balor ug marketability sa 30-ektaryas nga wa pa mahalin nga luna.

I will treat it as a purely commercial venture where he will get a percentage of our earnings so at least he will get an incentive after his retirement. what gives?? what about those Cebuano sportmen who gone down history and carving not only a name for themselves for Cebu and country in general? to name one.. Elorde?
Do they have a museum sad? I would agree.. a MUSEUM for SPORTSMEN.. CEBUANO SPORTSMEN who made a name in history. Not for manny pacquiao only.. but a museum devoted to the many cebuanos who made a name in the sports genre they excelled in...

I don't understand what local politicians think when it comes to Manny Pacquiao.
A few years back, someone proposed special legislation - naming Manny Pacquiao as "adopted son of Cebu".
Now there's this crazy museum proposal.

ok ra ko ana kay more than deserving man tawn ang tao para museum ug rebolto sad gani... naa gani museum mga underlings lang kompara sa iyang nahatag sa atong nasud kani naba hino-on tawhana nga grabing pride nahatag (ug kaowow sad tungod sa iyang mga kanta2 diha nga feeling kaayo ang yagit).
besides, WE NEED MORE MUSEUMS!

A museum of history or prehistoric life would be great, but a Pacquiao museum is a terrible idea.
