I don't offend the NARUTO addicts but i just wonder why people,teenagers and child
likes this anime. Honestly, i haven't seen the first episode in naruto
when I saw the episodes in manga. BOOM!! daghana d.i oe!!

I'm just like you guys ANIME FANATIC!! im just wondering with this NARUTO mania!!

Well, try watching and reading it first. You might like it, like them. And maybe you'll understand, too.

Although i have wondered about its (overhyped? overrated?) popularity. I was a huge fan of Naruto back then (4-5 years ago). But once my anime horizon expanded (thank you, internet), i discovered lots of cooler (in my opinion) series compared to Naruto. I think that's what some Cebuano peepz should do too, expand their anime horizon.

But we all have our preferences. Some just like Naruto sooo much. Well, as long as we're all enjoying.

as others have pointed out, you'll have to watch it first.

here are the reasons that I could think of:

- casual anime viewers can easily appreciate it (shounen + comedy + action);
- it was aired on an anime time slot in Philippine TV;
- it was popular, is popular, and will be popular for quite some time. Novices to anime will simply grab this title as their first anime;
- history has proven that there will always be a shounen mainstream title, mostly with 9001 episodes.

True, it's a nice show for beginners since the first few story arcs were nice.
It's usually a friend's recommendation, too.

Reminds me of Nappa and Vegeta's conversation in the fanmade Abridged series of DBZ..

Nappa: Vegeta!!!! Don't make fun of Death Note! It's one of the most original animated comeout in the last ten years and it's got a much better plot than Dragon ba--ahahahahahaha aahh.. boring.
Nappa: I'd rather watch Naruto, Vegeta!
Vegeta: Oh please, if i wanted to watch over a hundred episodes of filler, i'd watch Inuyasha.
