Fourteen people were brought to the hospital last Friday after eating lechon paksiw a day after the birthday celebration of their family patriarch in barangay Maricaban, Sta. Fe town.

Among those who were rushed to the hospital were Jesus Elosorio Sr., 63; his wife Sofia Elosorio, 64; their children Analou Elosorio, 24; Jurinda Elosorio, 37; Jesus Elosorio Jr., 30 and Maguinda Elosorio.

The grandchildren of the Elosorios who also ate the lechon paksiw along with their parents were not spared. They were identified as Reymad Elosorio, 11; Benjo Elosorio, 9; Tapia Elosorio, 6; Renato Elosorio, 2; all sons of Maguinda and her niece and nephews Ashley Olivar, 5; Meljun Tiongson, 5; Jimbert Batobalonos, 16; and Marbert Batobalonos, 19.
