POCKET WATCHES

Once upon a time clocks were made of weights and gears. They were enormous and immovable. Towers! They stood amidst a city for a crowd to look up to to tell the time of day or the stroke of night. Then a breakthrough happened, and a locksmith devised a clock that ran with springs. Springs! What a concept, everyone noticed and with delight they made little clocks, towers no more, but instead watches that placed time in their hands. Time they could bring around and look at whenever, wherever they wished, that they could keep in their pockets or under their pillows as they sleep.

In his extraordinary adventure he crossed three continents and two oceans on trains, steamers, an elephant, and almost anything else he could find. With him he brought his fabled pocket watch, one that would determine his fate and would ultimately decide whether he would win his bet on time or not.

This is the perfect timepiece for every adventurous wanderer, the Watch of Phileas Fogg. It carries with it the charm of a bygone victorian era, embellished with a vintage train engraving and ornate floral borders.
