Hi guys,
I'm planning to get a digicam soon. Can anyone give me a suggestion. I'm planning on getting the Sony N1 camera with 8.1 MP with a 3 inch LCD.
Suggestions are very much welcome. Thanks.

before we all too entusiastic about getting a dSLR.
has anyone asked firebasefury what he/she would like to do with the camera? if firebasefury only wants to take snap shots of friends and family, and wants a camera he/she can easily bring around he'll probably want to get a point and shoot like the Sony N1.
however, if he/she plans to get into the hobby then i'd suggest that firebasefury gets a dSLR like the Canon 350D or the Canon 30D. But be warned, once you get a dSLR the expenses will pile up.
hmmm i guess he is looking for those small and thin type, the canon ixus series is worth looking at, especially the new ones with image stabilization
yes sony N1 would be the best camera for you...
im just looking for a small cam. im not really into hobbies. so far ang N1 ako naganahan based sa reviews na ako nabasahan but if you can suggest a better model that would be great.

so far... i'm lovin this one above all... and it's pretty low-priced!
check it out...
if you're really getting the N1, get the underwater casing while ur at it.. it takes gorgeous shots!
but if you just a basic point and shoot, go for the Casio Ex-z60... or the s600 because it takes mpeg videos rather than .avi
i'm not really big on the MEGAPIXEL factor, besides the higher you go the more memory it eats up..
you're not really printing for tarpolines, are you?[color]
