Why do genuine IT stores sells non-genuinine items?

If you try to buy a set of pc or laptop without OS in different pc stores in sm or ayala, why would the salespersons offers pirated OS and even pirated ms office to clients? They called it "bunal". Maybe its the customers who want it, but genuine stores should always sells genuine staffs. Right?. Tell me your experience if you have one.

IT stores won't say it out load nor offer it at first when selling OS, they will say buy original OS.

But customers tend to complain how expensive the original OS is, that's when ma hangyo ang customer if there's a pirated copy, the seller will either offer him a pirated copy, or let the user buy the copy himself from another shop selling the pirated copy, and would take no fault or any consequences if caught or using pirated OS.

This is the truth

Genuine is never Genuine in our country, from what i have read, we maybe even worst compared to China with pirated/fake products.

have you been living or hiding under a rock ? lots of people already got caught using pirated copies and got jailed for it. It depends on your situation.

This happens most of the time with huge IT businesses and internet cafe's, also some personal.

Genuine is expensive yes, but its Illegal, if dili ka mo believe then i dare you to announce sa imo local barangay and police that you are using pirated OS

Well in fact i worked before on one of the biggest IT store here in philippines. And that is our problem. But according to the salespersons in my last company, thats their sideline and thats the choice of the clients.

yes its the choice of the client, if a store actually sells the pirated copy to you then they will get into trouble, that's why stores would say "buy pirated nlang sa other stores.. wala man mi sell ana, ikaw lang sd install.."

naa man pud risk kng mupalit ka og anything pirated..pde na way para magspread og viruses or worst theft of confidential information from the user....

mas ok jud ang licensed esp. OS coz entitled ka sa mga updates sa imo system that helps a lot for future software problem.

Yeah mao na tinuod. Nindot jd kng license. Ang ako lng ky natingala lng ko nga makabaligya sila ug pirated softwares and install them inside the stores mismo. Some of them, due to strict management, sa gawas nlng cla muinstall like sa mcdo,jollibee, foodcourt ug uban pa pra d lng masakpan and para lng makakwrta.
