hi guys, naka decide ko nga mag order nalang ko sa ako processor/mobo ug video card sa frys.com kay hapit naman mu larga ako mama sa states ipadala nalang nako sa iyaha... so i have the following questions:
for a processor, which one is better sa karong panahona... INTEL or AMD? kabasa man gud ko ngari sa mga threads gud nga AMD daw is better for gaming medyo galibog ko kung why? AMD man processor sa ako laptop ug old desktop ron and dali lagi mu init... so ako ask is, if karong panahona dako ba jud kaau ang difference in performance ang AMD sa INTEL when it comes to gaming? if dili, then INTEL is a good choice raman pud? I'm thinking of getting an icore5 processor lang (naa ko migo nga admin sa states nag upgrade sya to icore5 kay ingon sya mau daw performance compared sa iya AMD nga proc.. so im curious kung how true ang iya sulti) .. also, is it wise sa karon na time nga to go for quad? kita ko sa mga threads ngari kasagaran dual core raman paliton sa mga tao...
as for video card... unsa ako tanawon nga specs to see kung one is better than the other? and also how will i know which one is compatible with the mobo nga ako
paliton? like unsa nga word or value ako pangitaon aron makabalo ko nga kana nga vid card pwde sa ako mobo?
ako use sa pc: play games like WOW, DOTA, silkroad, left for dead, any online or pc games coming soon... converting videos; video edit...
noob jd ko... pero im still learningty sa mga replies daan....

naa na kay prospect na components? and besides how much are you willing to spend on this components.
usually it does not mean na kung sa US paliton super barato, naa usahay states na daku ug tax..so murag diperensya ra gamay sa presyo..
daghan kau threads nganu ok AMD is favored by gaming, just imagine ang AMD highway na 4 lanes - one direction ra so dedicated siya....while and intel 8 lanes pero bi-directional ... i hope my analogy fits it....but my vote goes to intel...
IMHO, if budget is not a concern id go for intel i7, an evga x58 mobo, Ati 5870 or a gtx295, then corsair dominators for RAM....
this rig can play any games you can throw at....
usually this items can be acquired locally, but sometimes they are not stocked bulked. so order basis mga 2 days na wait time...

palit lang ug core 2 duo sis or you can go future proof sa mga core i5, i7 nya videocard na priced around 5k na bang for the buck and kanang motherboard na daghan ug ramslots like 4 or kung pwede more pa para nindut ug bandwidth imo gamiton tanan dual channel or tripple channel dipende sa imo gi palit.
unsa na resolution nimo gamit ang games ug highest settings ka or kaya ra nimo low or mid?

there sis. tan-aw ug benchmarks
in DUALCORE arena..even my el chepo' e8400 is a victor at stock speed at 3.0GHz meaning no AMD X2 can rival it and it is at par with an AMD triplecore X3 720 @ 2.8GHz
how much more if an intel e8500 | e8600?
then there is i5 / i7 8series / i7 9series QUADS and the 6CORE i9
compare an intel i7 to any AMD X4s...u will see that intel is the king
AMD simply is just a runner-up.

in all honestly if your going for i5 or i7, i suggest getting a high end video card, if not your just wasting money in my opinion.

unfortunately dili man ako ang muadto sa states... hehe... but if i know which one to buy then easy nalang for my mom ngadto mu palit, on thanksgiving day or black friday.... pero last time tua ko sa states, ako pud gi adto ila sale pag thanksgiving... hay naku, same lang mga discounts nila sa store and sa ila online store except ato ila limited promos....
