Get a paid service. To host at home, you need a quiet fast connection with a high upstream.
Nothing is more annoying for people who download from your site when they download with 512kbps only...

i tried it once setup ko og my own web server diri sa balay, gamit kog dyndns og kato homelinux na domain, pero dili xa ma access sa internet. ang local ra nako na pc ang maka access. then i went to smart to ask some questions if allowed ba. they said not allowed daw. but i bet wala to naka.balo tong ako gipangutan.an...

so what isp diri sa cebu/pinas pede maka provide ani na service? for experiment purposes lang.. kay naa sa pldt tag 4k per month nia naa na static ip + 2mbps...
