going to buy a laptop!!help

pips,,just want a help from you guys that my cousin wants to buy a laptop and i really have no idea what to look 4.any ideas?

EarlZ is right. It's cheaper buying a bundled laptop rather than buying one and then keep on upgrading it. Take particular note of the processor and the video card of the laptop cause you can't change them individually. Once they're installed, they're hardwired onto the motherboard.

As for the processor, go for Pentium M or Centrino. These kind of processors takes less energy and has a built-in support for WiFi.

For the video card, go for 128mb. Nowadays, applications require high resolutions, especially for Windows.

RAM, the larger the RAM is the faster and more programs you are able to run simultaneously.

Laptop harddisks costs alot more than the desktop harddisks. So better find a laptop with at least 80 Gb.
