Good School? is inside your room filled with complete Personal Computer with intermediate hardware specs and minimum internet connection, low-cost printer with tons of paper . beginner to intermediate books, ask question in forum, or solve other people's problem. don't study C++ and C# simultaenously LOL you will remember nothing at the end.

Write your GOALS, define it with appropriate headers READING.H, RESEARCH.H, EXPERIMENT.H and compiled it with -DESCIPLINE -PATIENCE -HARDWORK and -DEDICATION, if you fail, DEBUG your life and try to insert some MACROS.

I thought you get it... , anyway, I don't know if there are reliable school in cebu city area focusing only in C++ or C#, some tech. centers offers you short courses around 40-80hours session, and I'm not sure that kind of study will help you, it will cost you also around Php5K or more... which I prefer to buy books and study in your own.

some instructor (well, at least not all), depend from book chapters, more likely to say that they skip those difficult topics just to avoid troublesome questions others don't have experience at all in practical side of programming.

during those days (ey` im still young ^_^) I used to had at least minimum of 15hours a day working and figuring how to run my code... my longest experience coding is 48 hours straight way back in college. comparing the knowledge gain from student who had just done 40-80 hours session is not that much compared to what I learn.

I'm not discouraging you to take duh... this is just my own opinion, some guys here gathers some meetings, inviting people to share knowledge and discuss. perhaps you were able to read that thread, which is really good way to start, understanding how things flow in real world scenerio. (FYI, I haven't attended I'm currently out of the country, but if opportunity permits me, i will come).

if you don't know how to start alone, a lot of people will help you here, but you have to set some GOALS first, do you really want to work on this field? or it is just a part of your curriculum? are you in different side of profession and planning to take IT Jobs? all answers depends on you, but for the meantime go work on it

yeah i understand you mean self study, buying books right? been doing it using PHP, but i just want to know if there are any schools who have this language being taught, if no school, then that's the time for self study then...

if you had nice background in php, it may be easy for you on C++ ... if there are good schools, you probably heard the name. there are existing short-term, but you can be better than the instructor I guess. I know someone personally who worked at SM cebu, you can find them near computer stores (last floor). Hope he will not read this hehehe

You can always ask best friend google for tutorials. Lesser cost than studying to a U or college.
