homepage infiltration!!!

unsaon man ni pag-restore sa default homepage sa web browser (IE)? i tried changing it to blank, yahoo, microsoft, etc, pero mo-direct gyud siya sa www.sysprotectionpage.com. ang ending hinoon, dili na ko kaadto sa actual homepage kay mao lagi, mo-redirect na sad siya dire sa sysprotectionpage.com. can anyone give me an idea?

re-install lang ang explorer, if not download ka ug mozilla. I had the same problem before but gi re install nako ang ie. Pero karon mozilla ako gamit kay nindot siya, specially if you are surfing sa istorya.net

scan your system for spyware/malware/adware and remove. use ad-aware or spybot s&d.

ako lang gi update to 7.0.. toink mao lang gihapon. wa pud siya matang-tang sa ad-aware ug spybot s&d (exactly the two programs ganihang buntag). pag hapon, napuno na akong pc ug mga anti-spyware, anti-adware, anti-virus, ugbp.

sige, sulayan nako unya ug reinstall ang IE. kung wala gihapon, mozilla na lang gyud ko ani.

spybot search and destroy is the best answer to that. paro kung di gyud madala, i suggest nga i reinstall nalang nimo imung OS.

use spybot s&d nya adto sa tools. click on BHO. tangtanga ang mga BHO nga way gamit. kung wa ka kaila tangtanga. and i update your detection files ug i-immunize imong IE. after mawala na download ug firefox ug kalimti ang IE. once maka gamit ka ug firefox u'll never go back to IE. kung naa gani gihapon download autoruns from www.sysinternals.com read the FAQ and run autoruns

bro i google lang bro hijackthis.exe i download na ipadagan den tan awa sa last entries naa ba DNS values like 202.47.132.9 i check kung mao ba jud ni ang gihatag sa imo ISP kung dili i checkbox na siya den fix, most likely na hijack imo pc sa mga malware. hope it helps

mozilla man akong gamit sa office. ako lang sa ning kalingawan ang IE 7.0 for the meantime. hehehe

btw, try td209's suggestion above. it worked for me. rickmags' hijackthis.exe was also useful. pero medyo naglisod ko unsaon pag analyze. i thought my connection got busted when i wasnt able to connect to the net after running the program. naulian ra after resetting the router.

lastly, no need to reinstall! :mrgreen:
