IDE and SATA problem..

Mga masters,

I have a SATA HD as my primary HD, then I want my 120gb IDE to be my secondary HD.

My question is how do i configure my 120gb IDE to be my second/slave HD??

~have tried it, but it cannot proceed to Windows boot screen (katong naay magdagan2 nga line below sa Microsoft logo) just a black screen with a blinking cursor..

Please help..

imo hardisk duha usa ka sata unya usa ka IDE imo buhaton e set.up na nmo sa imong bios ang imong hardisk imo gamiton ang kadtong compatible mode sa hardisk nga connection explore lng imong bios makit.an rna nmo.tks kung gusto ka boot screen imo gusto press f8 k ayaw lng dugaya kay ma safemode na cya

make sure lang bro..na nka slave ang jumper settings sa imo ide..ky para d mo conflict..usually ang unahon ug detect ang sata drive.

specified bro kong unsa emo gebohat pag solod nimo sa BIOS
press delete, depende na sa emo bios.
specified pod kong unsa emo OS nmo.
adto ka sa BIOS e set nmo kong unsa emo first priority nga HDD ug 1st boot device
e check pod ang power supply niya kong connected ba siya.

dili na mag conflict besan sayop emo jumper settings kay sata na ug IDE, gawas kong same sila IDE kana mo set jud ka ug jumper settings ug e set na nmo sa BIOS ang 1st priority nga HDD ug 1st boot device para maka run emo OS..

If others may encounter same problem.
This is what I did.

~ Set jumpers (for Seagate, I just left it empty)
~ Set HDD supply
~ Press F10 for BIOS setup
~ click Device Controller
~ Boot Order Sequence
~ Change setting
~ Restart computer
~ Done!

bro, set your boot priority to sata.

make sure lang bro..na nka slave ang jumper settings sa imo ide..ky para d mo conflict..usually ang unahon ug detect ang sata drive.

bro e correct lng nko ha....sa f naa ka 2 hdd...1 ide,1 sata...ang default nga e boot s ide ug dli ang sata.
pwd u ipaboot sa sata nga hdd basta d lng problemado u hdd ug iya OS
