    Default DFI P965 bios flashing went south


    system:

    dfi p965 mobo
    pentium d 3.0
    2 x 1gb ram
    ati radeon 4670

    so here's my problem..i flashed my bios to the latest revision sa ilang site...i did flashed it sa windows using winflash tool, tanan steps ako na sunod and appeared it was updated successfully.then rebooted my pc..after rebooting wala nay display and no beeps...unsa kaha ako nasayop ani? dfi guru's tabang...first time flashing d bios...hahaha

    did you clear the cmos after flashing the BIOS?

    yes. remove sa ur cmos batt

    drink water, smoke a cigarette

    then taud balik cmos battery

    turn on

    if dili na faulty ang bios pwede pana. wait lang ta ani sa ts kong unsa na nahitabo..

    matang-tang raman siguro ang BIOS chip ani bai ace so palit lang ka ug BIOS chip siguro.

    @ butitoy: why not use the reset cmos jumper? it only takes less than a minute to reseat it.

    i prefer to remove the battery to erase program in bios chip than reset the bios thru jumper short

    .and sakto na if, di gyud mugana, buy new BIOS CHIP
