Default 'Gibo Teodoro track record better than Noynoy's'

'Teodoro track record better than Noynoy's'
By Paolo Romero (The Philippine Star) Updated September 23, 2009 12:00 AM

MANILA, Philippines - Opposition presidential bets are not likely to measure up to the performance and track record of administration standard bearer Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro, a Malacaņang official said yesterday.

Presidential deputy spokesperson Lorelei Fajardo said the economic policies implemented by President Arroyo would put Teodoro “way ahead” of opposition presidential candidates as the administration’s performance on the field allowed the country to avoid the full brunt of the global economic crisis.

“I think what we should talk about is: what are the plans of those running? Let’s not be basing it on general statements like ‘I will not steal. I will not do this. That I will be better’,” Fajardo said, referring to the statements made by Sen. Manuel Roxas.

Roxas, who will be the vice presidential candidate of the Liberal Party (LP), said the party’s standard bearer Sen. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III is better than Teodoro in continuing the economic policies of the Arroyo administration.

“Let’s lay on the table what are their platforms of government and their intentions when they are in office,” Fajardo said.

She said Teodoro is “very clear on his stand on all issues and all things hurled against him” and knows what to do once in office.

“I think voters should (use) platforms of government as basis (in deciding who to vote),” she said.

    again post ko ani...

let me remind everyone that track records of noynoy and gibo should be traced since both were tarlac congressman in the same span of year form 1998-2007... we can put in contrast on what they did on their districts with their 70 million pork barrel budget in 9 years..

we can also trace the bills and resolutions crafted by them which are at present yet to become a law.. or even the laws being authored by them if is there is...

we can also trace their track record noynoy as a senator and gibo at the department of defense, specially on how he managed the mindanao conflict and the territorial dispute in kalayaan group of islands...

as of now, platforms are not thiers but the party they are being considered with and endorsed...
let us not be blinded by the propaganda by the opposition and the administration since politics is a game that is so hard for us voters to play...

    about noynoy

i would also suggest that we should do some checking on thier congressional districts in tarlac where they both served as congressman in 3 terms at the same period from 1998 until 2007....
70 million of pork barrel per year and how was it used to ease the poverty in thier districts..

posted this already sa laing thread..
i have continously researched on both, some facts that would make bad imppressions of the two..
i will post it later... i hope everyone will find some time reading the content of the links...
