My friend wanted to open a pharmacy business and need some advise, Can anyone share some thoughts or advises about this type of business industry? Do's and Don'ts, etc., Because I don't have any idea about it, thanks...

i also want that kind of business. i have a friend who already owns a pharmacy. what you need is a right location, kanang daghan taw kay even daghan ka competensya naa jud moduol sa inyong pharmacy. sa akong lang nahibaw-an 15 sq.m. kay ok na daw na itukod ug pharmacy, pwede ra pud maghire raka ug pharmacist or abangang lang license nya pero much better kung pharmacist jud ka. pwede ra daw 100 thousand ang capital kay mostly consignmetn basis daw ang tambal.

a pharmacy that has lower-than-most pricing for me is what is important. we always go to letty drug. kung sa downtown most people go to majesty ba yan..kasi BARATO.

dapat sad hayag ang drugstore. brightly-lit stores are attractive to me. not neon lights ha...just that it looks bright and clean.

oh and be careful that you do not get to sell FAKE drugs. someone i heard b4 sold fake dengue meds ba yon. or basta something fake...tapos anak nya namatay ng dengue. i do not know if this is true or not. selling fake meds..meds that mean the life or death of a person...calls great karma upon the seller.

also...one has to WORK hard at this biz...kasi ang kitaan sa pharmacy ginagmay ra jud tawn kung u wanna be competitive. the owner dapat ma-PR. kahit a friendly and sincere smile...to someone whose loved-one is very sick...a smile lifts the spirit somehow.

I don't think 100t pesos is enough capital for pharmacy, basin nalimot mo mahal na baya kaayo ang mga tambal karon. Basin pila lang ka lugas mabaligya ana and f.y.i most customers once mobalibad na gani ka sa usa ka product na ila paliton, mobalhin na dayon. So ang tendency, sige minus imo customer per day, remind you of your competitors around na completo. And pharmaciotical companies don't trust for newly opened business for consignment, you need big capital gyud for the first transaction, once suki na that's the time na pautangon nata.
