International Order is only good if you have someone in the US ordering for you, and they will pay you for shipping to your country (Philippines) and pay for your taxes. If not then prices locally will be cheaper then ordering from US.

Newegg does not include Shipping cost to Philippines, it doesn't include electronic tax, doesn't include tax for Customs. Free Delivery is only in the US, not internationally. You can only get the Rebate if you live in the US. People always forget about this, always assume prices in our country is higher, yet when they order from US its already too late, paying 20% even more then the prices in our country because of Shipping, Tax, Customs. and i forgot one little thing Newegg doesn't ship internationally, only in the US.

Warranty internationally is not good, because the cost of shipping the item back to the US is very expensive, the cost might be the same as buying the actual item, and you need to wait for weeks if not months to get the item back. If you want something fast and easy i suggest buying locally not internationally. So in other words, No dili sya dali ma ilis dugay sya. Unless its local.

Tipidpc, there are many cases lots of scammers in that site, so be very careful, as istorya also has some scammers around selling pc parts. Check the reputation tab very carefully for TipidPC. too bad istorya doesn't have this system yet.

How come manila prices are cheaper then cebu?

The problem is Manila stores doesn't seem to follow SRP given by suppliers, it's very unfair for cebu resellers because we get higher cost for an item, Manila resellers get them cheaper because they don't need to pay for shipping and warranty issues.

Manila is different market, so is Cebu, so is others like Davao, CDO, etc.

    Example:

Manila Resellers buy the item @ 2000 pesos from Supplier & sells it for 2222-2300 pesos.
Cebu Resellers buy the item @ 2200-2300 pesos(Patong for shipping) from Supplier & sells it for 2400-2600 pesos.

Get it ? Cebu resellers get higher prices on some suppliers.

Also it seems Manila doesn't follow SRP Given to items like:

Item A dealers price is 3000, and Suggested Retail Price is 3333. But manila resellers are selling it at 3050, 3100, 3150 pesos. tell me, how can cebu resellers even compete with those prices? since we need to pay for shipping pa that's around additional 150-300 pesos. So we are getting the Item at 3150-3300 pesos i wonder how we can sell it at 3050, 3100, 3150 pesos ?

I wish people understand more, but it seems most don't just the sad awful truth..
Anyway good luck with your purchases.

I say depende sa imo location. Last year nakapalit ko kay wala na jud choice, 2.9k for a 160gb hardisk anyone? Whereas ad2 nga time, makapalit na ka ug 1.8k brand new 160gb nga hardisk. Though to be fair, wala pa man pud nako nalukop ug tan-aw ang mga tindahan diri ug naa pud uban parts nga acceptable ra pud ang price( LCD, casing ). Pero if we talk about high-end vc's, ram nga pang overclock, branded PSUs wala jud ka halos makita. Gamay ra namaligya diri ug high-end parts so limited ang mga choices kay ang target man sa mga stores diri kay mga pang normal usage lang nga mga desktop PCs. Naa tuod order basis pero it would you 3-4weeks nga hulat for the item. Na man pud gaisano interpace, pero galibug lang jud ko pila ila patong. Last year ghapon, nangita ko vc ( onboard IGP replacement lang ) kita ko ug palit 8400GS that cost 1.5k according sa ila pricelist. Pag-inquire nako sa ila shop diri, the price was 3.4k.

Usually ang difference ra if the supplier is in the philippines is around 200-500 pesos, it shouldn't exceed more then that.

Small items like video cards, motherboards, etc. should only be 1-3 day order basis.

Computer cases are heavy and big, thats 7-14 days via boat to make it cheap, you can do 1-3 day order basis via air but that would be very expensive exceeding to 600-1200 in shipping alone for cases

Newegg price is not true if you are in the Phils. (u need to pay for shipping, taxes, etc provided if newegg will ship to the Phils.)

    1. yes, you save money, time and effort if you order it online. (Good if you are in the US)

    2. the best online store (US) I can suggest is Ebay and Amazon (Usually no tax). Newegg is cheap and in my experience, Newegg charges 8.025% tax for items shipped to CA, NJ, and kalimot nako.

    3. Warranty in the US is really so good. No problems in returning even if you don't like the item (only thing is u need to pay for the restocking fee).

@ TS: kung available ang item diri sa Cebu...ARI LANG GYUD PALITA for peace of mind....kung order basis from resellers diri like andz...better pa gihapon kai ang warranty naa ra diri cebu...ako i buy some of my items didto sa manila kai wala gyud makuha-an diri...but regarding casings...ari na gyud ko mopalit...tagam ko naka buy ko casing, na dented during shipping...

@ Sempron Guy: mao diay gihapon na diha sa Cagayan, perting mahala...grabe na modala ug overprice mga compushops diha...

Ordering from NewEgg is way cheaper if you know how to buy and if you have:

    1. a friend/relative in the US.
    2. Friends /relatives credit cards billing address is outside CA, this way you don't get taxed.
    3. Timing is important. Why? bec you need to shop for items that's in promo, discounts, rebates and sometimes they offer free shipping.
    4. Patience and lots of patience, why? because you need to ship these by the time your friend or relative sends out balikbayan box to Cebu
    5. If you're not happy with what you bought your friend can return the product at a certain period of time usually a month and get a refund no question asked but you have to pay shipping it back, it's good to have that option.

But if the items that you would like to buy is not available or not released locally then go ahead and order them and just close your eyes on the shipping cost
