As of 8:00 AM today, September 15, 2009, the entire Philippine archipelago can be seen from space, a truly cloudless day over our country. Here are images from METOCPH (US Navy Weather Service).
If you look closely, you can see major mountain ranges in Mindanao (Kitanglad range and Apo), and even mountains in Negros and Cebu.
If photo satellites are passing over our country, now is the time to update those Google Earth Photos of our islands which are covered in clouds (there's a part of Cebu City that's annoyingly covered with clouds in Google Earth).
