THE MISSING PESO
Three friends ate in a cafeteria. Each has ten pesos (P10) and after eating, their bill was twenty-five pesos (P25) so they all chipped in their P10 totalling to thirty pesos (P30). They got a change of five pesos (P5) and decided that since they can't divide it equally, they'll all just take 1 peso each and give two pesos (P2) to the waiter as a tip. So with the one peso (P1) in their pocket, they went home. Then they did a calculation. They all paid nine pesos (P9) each beause they got back P1 of their P10, so P9 multiplied by 3 equals twenty seven pesos(P27), plus the two pesos (P2) that they gave as tip equals twenty nine pesos (P29). And they had thirty pesos (P30). So what happened to the missing peso (P1)?
