Does anyone here have or had a Sega Dreamcast? I know a few friends (long time gamers) who still have their DCs until now, still playing the games they collected long before.

i luv playing DC during high school days
imagine i've finished RE veronica and Grandia 2 by just renting them in a shop?
and some fighting games MVC2, DOA2..
well since today i got a PC that emulates well nullDC. i still love playing DC games.
my hardware DC console collection just bought this week by a guy here in istorya who just cleaning his closet. apparently its broken. deffective lens. anyway the price is cheap, so its good for both controllers and a 4 channel memory card. heheh

A friend of mine in Colorado shared to me his experience of buying the DC on its unforgettable launch in the U.S.
The day: September 9, 1999 (9-9-99)
He lined up at a Best Buy, was given the number 148 (he was the 148th person in line), and spent around 13 hours time waiting. When he got in at last, he spent $550 and went home happy. Since he was so tired, he slept upon arrival and then started playing the DC at around lunch time, shortly after he woke up. He was so involved in the DC, he relied on pizza delivery to feed himself (and he had food in his ref but he just did not want to spend time cooking). He played Soul Calibur, NFL 2K, and Sonic to name few.

When it launched on 9-9-99, the DC generated $98.4 million in combined hardware and software sales for Sega, which was a record at the time. On that same day, 225,000 DCs were sold, which was also a record until the PS2 (510,000) eclipsed it.
