Philippines, oh Philippines!
This is a way of getting back at consumers since NTC wants to lower the first few seconds of connection cost. Instead na rounded off to the minute, ang fees are now rounded off to the second and connection rate is cut to half already. I dont know if this a very effective scheme but i think dghan jud musupak ani kay dghan man mas hilig ug txt than calling in. either ways, wa man guro problema kay sun man ko.. hehehe.. bsta padayonon ra ghapn ang promo nila.. d ko matay.ug.. hehe
Inquirer article
From what i understand sa article the tax will be imposed on the carrier. AND will not be passed on to the consumer.
The telcos are charging P1 per text. 5 cents goes to the tax. and the cost of the text is 25 cents. that leaves 70 cents profit for the telcos!Isabela Representative Giorgidi Aggabao, one of the committee members, said that the panel members were “very emphatic” in ensuring that the “no pass-on” provision would be specified in the final version of the committee report.
Now ambot na lang unsay effect ani sa mga unli promos. basin mawagtang na ang promo sa sun unli. maybe mapareho na sila sa alltext promo sa smart. P50 = 300 texts good for 3 days. Kay 300texts = P15 na tax. So naa pay P35 nahabilin.
Lets see na lang.
maayo ni para maka kuwarta ang govt. basta ma gamit lang sa maayo. Medyo dako dako gyud ganansya sa Smart , globe & sun. its time the govt. got some hehehehe..... ayaw mag palugi hehehe...
the unli days are almost over
Mao gihapon, kanang 5cents per text kay padong naa sa mga corrupt officials..
.. damn these politicians, they saw that billions are being made by the telcos and they want their share. this really sucks.
