think of it like PSP2000. notice post around the web indicating different HW versions but essentially work the same.

essentially they are the same 5320 phone but with a slight hardware difference (usually due to parts availability/supplier and manufacturing site/etc.)but functionality should be identical (but meron exception to the rule with some phone models...read below)

in phones this can mean units designed for optimal use in certain countries like north america, asia, china,latin ameraica, europe, middle east,etc and in some model this can mean difference in frequency.

example: N95 meron for euro and apac version as well as northamerican version. all are known as nokia N95 but north american version (n95-3) doesnt support frequency for 3g in the philippines(n95-1) and vice versa.

in the case of 5320d-1 which is mainly for apac countries and 5320d-1b is basically for LTA and the other variation is for china...however this may not be exclusive and list may change and/or my data is incomplete to make this a definite discription. meaning though 5420d-1 is know (by me) to be for apac, it may also be released for china or europe etc.
