HELP! aggresive dog

Akong iro isog kaayo, if mag walk me, mu bark sya sa mga bata.
If kakita ug laing iro/iring iya jud gukoron ug mag bark pud sya,
uwaw sa neighboors kay if makagawas (kung ma open ang door - cge ra atang na ma open ang door)
iyang gukoron ang mga tambay ug passerbys...hapit paak na...
If naay ganahan mu hikap niya (fury man sya gamay), iyang usigon, di na kahikap ang ganahan unta.

expose man ni namo ug tawo and other dogs (basin kuang pa)
i've tried leash training pud - although i admit i'm not that consistent
7 month old german x jap spitz...male

Need your opinion on this situation mga ka istorya. Thanks.

try using a prong collar... it looks bad but if you know how to use it, it wont hurt the dog... flat collar or choke chain is more cruel to the dog coz it hurts the dog in one specific spot and it can cause permanent damage... this is just my opinion..

I had exactly the same problem with my lab before... kids (running), dogs, cats except he's okay when you touch him... i used a combination of clicker training and prong collar... now i can say he is way better

i'll try the clicker training first, if this doesn't work, i'll go for the prong collar,
i don't think i'll be able to handle the prong collar yet...need to study more on it (mahadlok pa ko.hehe)

asa ta ka palit ug clicker? any alternative clicker you can recomend?

hi there bai

first u must know that your dog is a mixed of gsd and jap spitz

its their natural nature to bark on stranger

and second i think u need to correct him by giving him negative rewards wen he does bad things and good reward if he does good things

basic obedience is a must and must be socialize with people and other dogs. if he try to bark at people or dogs dont worry sa first lang na just correct him properly dont hurt him but u can scold him or tell him with a firm voice na no! if he behaves give him something to eat

dba after ana i dont think he will be aggresive pa

you can buy clicker sa caminade... instead of the clicker you can use the word "yes" as a marker or "good dog" just be consistent with your tone...the advantage of the clicker is that the sound it makes is consistent..
