    Default WIMBLEDON 2006

Your thoughts on the upcoming tournament:

Federer is still the top pick on the men's side. Roddick plays great on this surface.. Tim Henman is old and is no longer as great as he was back then, but it's his homecourt and his favorite surface. Nadal won't be much of a factor and all the spanish armada. I expect the GORAN ARMY (Ancic, Karlovic, Ljubicic) to do well..... and HEWITT is also back in his game. Nalbandian (like Hewitt.. does well with any court surfaces) has been to the Final...

On the women's side... Venus Williams has reached the finals 5 times in the past 6 years. Won the title twice I think... But her mental toughness is questionable. Davenport is getting old and her mobility isn't getting any better... but she still hits the hardest. Hingis' shot-making shines in this surface... her drop shots and pin-point groundies. You also can't count the Russians, Mauresmo, Henin-Hardenne, and Clijsters - I don't see any of these reaching the finals but they can give the contenders headaches. .... and of course, MARIA SHARAPOVA... her game is for this surface.

    -- Tournament starts monday!!!!

I'd like to see Federer wins Wimbeldon again. A not a bad idea to be an heir to Pete Sampras if he continues to win. Hoping that the Williams sisters will come again but due to their timely injuries and squabbles with their father, a minus to their concentration. They are just living out of their endorsements... sorry for the fans... but that's how I see it. I'd like to take a picture of Maria Sharapova - unfortunately, she's too tall for a 5'8" person like me... hehehehe... pero tupong lang gihapon ug maghigda... I'd like to play with her one-on-one. Damgo lang ta kutob ini.

Davenport's prime is slopping, the rest of the ladies are just good contenders. I'd like to see Henin-Hardene to win the trophy. Mao lang sa ni karon... until the game starts.
