Sir I was affected by the virus named Brontok....my problem is the computer that was affected of this virus has no internet connection...I just want to ask if theres is a solution on how to remove this virus without an internet connection....I try many anitivirus like mccafee, avast, norton, solo, brontok washer etc. but because it was not updated I cannot remove it....Please dont make a suggestion that I have to connect it on the internet just to update the antivirus coz I have no internet connection...Im just going in some internet cafe here in Masbate to post and to ask help from yours guy out there if what should I do about these...I was also thinking that maybe my other harddisk 80 g as backup was also affected....pls. i need help on how to remove this....I dont want to loose important data on my backup harddisk.....thanks

try this out...

Brontok is very medium risk, but make stanger program on our compter.

i have triks & tip to remove BRONTOK, you can try like this:

For first time you must make cleaning your regedit file :
- regedit : hkcu\microsoft\currentversion\run
- windows\ <---- remove file direktory (on regedit)
- finishing : scan with New Update antivirus (last update)

you can checking again and try to make flashdisk again, if any folder(*.exe) you still have BRONTOK from your PC.

bro there is only 1 solution with that virus install a kaspersky antivirus try to download even it is a trial version then scan ur computer and other HDD, it took half day to completely scan ur computer. uninstall 1st ur anti-virus before u install the kaspersky

JUNROGER: Sir how can I remove brontok on my regedit? As I've experienced when I type regedit on command prompt it just say registry editing was disable by your administrator and after a minute my computer shutsdown or restart....

ACQUA: Sir, is karspersky can remove brontok without updating it on the internet? As I've said I have no internet connection I'll just dopr in some cafe here in masbate just to post on our forum (istorya.net) thanks.....

REMEDY : install an anti-virus application, then it will vanish nga muag bula....

ahak ni nga virus kay nagsige og evolve. naa na pud lain version lain na name ani broknot og naa pa gyud latest karon, dili pa ma delete sa aku updated mc afee enterprise. mas ok dili mo maginternet if naa ni nga virus kay magsige siya og update

Naka experience na pud ko aning Brontok nga virus pwerte gyung maka pahinay sa computer. Magkamang na intawon pero ako ra mang pang hukbuton usa usa ang mga files sa virus..

try avg anti-virus free edition and download updates manually kay wala man kay internet. avast can also be updated manually. gkan na sya sa email. some kind of worm mana sya if i am not mistaken. maghimo na sya og .exe nga folders mao na ang first symptoms.
