hi, one of my HDDs died/is dying so i decided to buy a new HDD. problem is i really dont know what brand i should get. this hdd will be used as an external hdd... these are the ones available..
Western Digital WD CAVIAR GREEN - 640GB 16MB CACHE SATA 2 @ 2900.00 pesos
or
Seagate ST3500418AS | Barracuda 500GB SATA 16M @ 3050.00 pesos
and guys, im open to other suggestions.. all i need is a 500gb or more hdd which is aroung 2500-3500 pesos. tnx

if it was me i would choose, Western Digital.
too many bad experiences with seagate.

ic tnx guys.,., seagate diay ako naguba na hdd.. lain na au tingog pag mag basa..
mo apply japon ng suggestion ninyo sa 1TB or more na WG?

..just have 2 WD HDDs here..one is external..so far dont have problems with it..^_^
