just installed VISTA Beta 2 on my cranky old Athlon XP system. The performance on my PC is 'quite' responsive on a full AERO settings but will sometimes experience hiccups during multi-tasking.
As i dug through the Control Pannel settings, i noticed that there is this feature called Performance Rating [PR] wherein your system will get a score/rating basing from the overall hardware performance of your system.
Please post the VISTA Performance Rating of your 'high-end' PCs so that i'll know also how it will pair on my cranky old AXP
My Spec:
Athlon Xp 2000+ [stock clock]
768MB DDR333
PALIT Geforce 6600GT [128MB]
Western Digital Caviar 250GIG [15GIG allocated on OS]
PR=2
