Cache or Clockspeed???

Mga bro, need your thoughts or expertise on these:

The P4 506 has a clock speed of 2.66, L2 of 1mb & FSB 533. The new Celeron D 352 now has a 3.2 clock speed, L2 of 512kb & FSB 533. My Question is, will the 600mhz more clock speed sa Celeron D compensate for the half cache it has compared to the P4 506 nga 1mb

This is just from a consumers point of view, im not a computer techie like most of you here. Need enlightenment lang mga bro. Salamt daan.

If you need that processor for typing documents alone then the cache doesnt matter, but if you need it for gaming and other CPU intensive applications then that 512k cache really helps as the current Intel CPU architecture really rely's on its Cache.

more cache doesnt transalte directly into better perforamance, depends on the CPU architecture
