Recommendations for my current PC....

Hey Guyz, Good day to all!, specially sa mga master na maayo na kaayo sa computer (muzikfreakah, poldopunk, comcam, andz, shine, ahoi, centax error, simoko, etc..og uban pa na wala nako na apil.).

Am planning to upgrade my current pc.,but nag libog ko which part ko mag start...currently i have this setup:

Maybe ill be selling (or trade) some of my PC parts, kung naka palit nako puhon...kana lang unta budget parts, i mean kanang affordable ra mapalit. Plan unta nako kay PSU ang unahon kay Generic raman siya, kuyog ra sa casing, then maybe VidCard (ati 4770?) Processor or Motherboard.

Currently am using it for my job and sidelines as a Layout/Graphic Designer, plan sad nako to use it for studying 3D and other graphic related softwares para maka-puno2x sa upgrade.Ganahan sad ko og mga games like Left 4 Dead, Need for Speed etc.

Salamat kaayo sa mga istorya kay maka-learn jud ta asa i-gasto ang kwarta kaysa mag bisyo og dautan ..hehheh

Hope maka-recommend jud mo good parts.....Thanks in-advance..more power to this site!

upgrade your processor to pentium dual core E5200 or E5300, big improvement compare to your Core2duo E4500 best for overclocking pa. no need to change ur board since it can support the latest core2duo stuff..

That's not so bad for a rig,...heck it's not even rightful to call it a poorman's rig,...hehe. Just upgrade your video card and psu and you can game like there's tomorrow. You can also upgrade your cpu,..but that's already optional for me. How much is your budget?

if cost/money is a concern, then start at the component nga dili nimo pirmi ilisan...the psu...get a better psu nga dili maka buslot sa bulsa(600W-700W)...HEC is a good buy...or kung naa extra gamai go for Silverstone...

then upgrade your videocard to a DX10 compatible one since you'll be playing games that need it...affordable karon is 9600GT/9800GT/9800GTX+ etc. i don't know much about ATI vcards...

change your RAMS into 2x2GB DDR2-800 para maka dual channel mode ka....

don't ever think of overclocking w/ your present mobo...you can't do it...

kung naa naka budget...then upgrade simultaneously your processor/mobo to a higher/better one...

if you are going for an overclock system, buy a good cpu cooler...

**always remember this: LIFE is so much easier if you come to terms w/ what you have or can afford**

Mao sad na akong nakita sa uban mga topics dri sa istorya..better choose parts that i can afford..by the way..ikaw diay tong akong gipalitan sa ako vidcard sa una na 7200gs...bitaw..first tingali nako paliton kay PSU kaysa vidcard..basin maguba unya ako pc hinoon.by the way...unsay kalainan sa akong present na ram kaysa imo gi-recommend na DUAL Channel?..no how pa gud ko ana..hhhee

actually, first nako ilisan unta kay vidcard..but my motherboard has only a PCI-E 1xx bana, dili katong 2.0..which dli makahatag sa full power of the vid card and also..some of the cards na akong paliton unya kay need og separate power...ambot lang ang ATI 4770..mga 5 to 8k siguro..anam2x lang siguro ko ani..hehe.lisod kaayo kung bulto.

hehehe...buhi pa diay nang 7200gs...morag dugay2x na gyud tu da...regarding sa dual channel mode...mas paspas ni sya kai sa imong present setup...dili man ka maka dual channel mode kung 1GB & 2GB imong ram sticks...kung naa ka makit-an 2gb ddr2-667 then ilisi nalang na imong 1gb ddr2-667...

remember diay nga ang fastest mo depreciate in value is the vcard...ang latest today, will be mainstream in 1.5 months time...and kung used 1/3 ang value of depreciation...(ex. a vcard that you buy today for 8k, will sell for around 5.5k after 2 or 3 months of use, & why...kai naa naman new models manggawas nga same price ra pag buy nimo sa imong vcard)

same brand unta or much better kung dual-channel kit gyud, like those OCZ, Patriot, GSkill etc...keep nalang the 7200gs as backup rather than selling it at a bastardized price...you'll need it someday...

toybits...upgrade naka?...take simoko's advice...PSU usa unaha...ako ika recommend based sa ako experience, kanang silverstone nga mga PSU...kay nindot ang CS sa FU....bahin sa GPU go for ati 4770... hagdon unya nato si BGG ug lan party puhon...hehehehehhe
