ako speaker kay bose 301 series V(five), and my amps/receiver is yamaha rx-v450...

ako ikaistorya sa bose speaker good for vocal, natural sound listening, no extra bass just pure low frequency, clean output,

perog hilig ka ug bug-at ug bass get component sony, aiwa, panasonic they have a heavy bass soundsystem tungod sa subwoofer..

maybe if naa kay nahibal an na church ga use ug bose speaker system hear it, dri sa among cathedral they only use 6 speaker system 4 pcs 402 series II(2) ug 2 802 series III(3), bisag naa ka sa tunga madunggan nimo ang voice sa pari.... unlike other church na kada poste naay speaker pero maglisod pa jud ug sabot unsa giiistorya....

unsa may gamitan nimo migo?...if pang home theater ka...para nako okey ang denon...or harman kardon...yes, yamaha is good sad...naa sad sila pang entry level lang,,,if barato...sakura ra mas masaligan...generic cheap ones are a misnomer sa ilang mga suwat-suwat lang like THX na daw...etc....(as what i've heard...This is what most karaoke machines are paired with)but still look for a complete frequency ampli...like 20hz-20khz iyang specs...mas lower harmonic distortion mas maayo...

for speakers...if nay igong budget...yes bose is good sad...there are also good names like wharfedale, B&W, Focal, JBL,...

but just be sure to pair it well, coz i've heard na pairing is essential sad for amps and speakers...like JBL and HK...
JBL would sound lesser if paired with yamaha...from what i've heard...

Btaw bro, depends what you use it for. Kung para paris sa investment on a flat screen then you should save up for the real thing. Ayaw palit kana mga set na home theater, wala gyud boom.

AMP/reciever: ONKYO, YAMAHA, DENON (harman not so durable, pioneer hait ug sound) service sab sa first 3 better
CENTER SPEAKER: B&W or Wharfdale - get the biggest kaya sa amp
Fronts: Bookshelf or Floor standing. kung gusto ka dili kaayo hait go for the British brands. Sa floor standing B&W, Wharfdale, Infinity - not so mahal wharfdale. You may also want to wait sa coming na new mission speakers (less than 20K)
Surrounds: Bi-polar wharfdale pwede na
SUB: Velodyne if kaya - di gyud mag mahay. otherwise everything else in the 20T range is about the same

If the room is not so big go for the sulit kaayo na Bose series 6, but do invest in a good center speaker connect direct to the receiver and not via bose sub.
