    Cool not all RAM used....

    hello fellow istoryans!

my rig has the following specs:

    Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 2.33GHz
    2x2GB Kingston ValueRAM DDR2 667
    Palit GeForce 9600GT 1GB DDR3 256bit
    Asrock Conroe 1333-D667 R2.0
    160GB Seagate HDD SATA
    320GB Seagate HDD SATA
    Windows Vista Ultimate SP2 x64

now..my problem is that i have 2x2GB of RAM installed but vista only detects 3198MB of RAM (based on dxdiag) even if im running of 64BIT version of vista...

is there something (like BIOS settings) i can do to make my pc use all of the 4096MB of RAM??

and is there a way to disable the shared video memory??

    i really need ur help....

(ok ra ako english? fluent na kaau? hehe...lolz.....xD)

are you sure you are using 64bit Vista?

why not try the new windows 7 64bit?

Windows Vista allocates a portion of your RAM for video memory.
There's no way to disable this and this memory is only used when the entire video memory is consumed.
    Here's mine on Windows 7 x86-64

bro if onboard na video ram ma wala ra na siya if imo i off na siya na internal graphics sa bios, pero if mga cards na dili shareable ang memory kay di jud na nimo ma disable except kung expert ka na imo ba na sunogon or tanggalon na certain part.

if you're motherboard has on-board video and you're using a discreet graphics card, disable the memory allocation for the on-board video and set the PCIE as the primary graphics card on POST.
