of corz mas paspas jud ang 64-bit..just check f imong cpu naay EM64T na intructions pra mka install ka 64-bit OS..but it still depends sa imong gamitan nga apps and f supported sad..and 32-bit just limits ur ram up to 3.2gb..while 64-bit can support 4gb and up..
what f ur system ram is only 2gb?does it shows some improvement?
f 2gb lng imo ram, id suggest u just have to install 32bit OS..d kau nmo ma notice ang difference f 2gb ra..advisable ra ang 64bit f mag install ka 4gb and up ram..
from microsoft site:
The benefits are most apparent when you have a large amount of random access memory (RAM) installed on your computer (typically 4 GB of RAM or more). Because a 64-bit operating system can handle large amounts of memory more efficiently than a 32-bit operating system can, a 64-bit system can be more responsive when running several programs at the same time and switching between them frequently. If you want to be sure that your PC will be able to take advantage of increased memory and new hardware and software in the years ahead, a 64-bit PC is a good choice. If you run a lot of programs at once and switch back and forth between them often, a 64-bit PC can give you a more seamless, instantaneous response. And the more memory you have in your PC, the more programs you can run smoothly and simultaneously. If you only run one or two programs at the same time, a 32-bit PC is a fine choice.
it is like ur comparing a server machine and a client machine, now which do u think is faster?
hmm...i've read a good article on this before, i'll post back kung akong makit-an.
wa man nada sa 64 OS, angay ra gyud if 4gb up imo ram ana. naa ko befor 8gb ram gamit ko 64bit OS mao raman ge paspas sa 4gb with 32bit OS, ang ma detect lang sa 32bit OS kay 3.4gb lang.
just remember, not all apps are designed for 64-bit. hard to find drivers, some games wont run. mao na disadvantage. just weigh them all..
mostly gyud pod sa mga applications nga akong nabantayan kay 32bit OS lang supported ambot lang kaha sa mga bag-o.
if gaming lng, daghan naman 64-bit versions...its better to check if the apps you will most likely use have 64-bit versions (32-bit versions may still work on 64-bit OS tho)...IMO, the developers/programmers should be more concerned with the use of 32/64-bit OS...
