i listen to lots of music but i always come back to these 5 lately. started out last June. dunno when i get rid of them but still absorbing i guess..


1. RHYTHM ANGELS- Girls Like Us (favorite song: Until It Comes Around Again)

2. WILCO- Wilco (favorite song: I'll Fight)

3. LO- FI BREAKDOWN- This Piece of Ground (favorite song: If You Don't Love Me Anymore)

4. BRANDON RICKMAN- Young Man Old Soul (favorite song: What I Know Now)

5. SARA WATKINS-Sara Watkins (favorite song: My Friend)- Sara is 1/3 of the newgrass band Nickel Creek. I assume those people who listen to Killer Bee and Monster know who Nickel Creek is. Or was (they're on hiatus)

6. LOUVIN BROTHERS- Tragic Songs of Love - unlike those albums above, these one was from 1956. My favorite is the murder ballad Knoxville Girl (“She fell down on her bended knees, for mercy she did cry / ‘Oh Willy dear, don’t kill me here, I’m unprepared to die’ / She never spoke another word, I only beat her more / Until the ground around me with her blood did flow.”)

I also purchased John Waller's latest While I'm Waiting a while ago but still have to listen to it. Didn't open it yet but i can smell greatness in it... He's a former vocalist of the indie rock band According To John and recently had his songs featured on Greys Anatomy and the movie Fireproof

naa ka Cd anang traveling Wilburys bay? sayang jud la nko kaabot ana. ingon ako migo naa daw time sauna when odessy and SM sold Cds by travelling wilburys, tom petty, toby keith, alan jackson, wallflowers, etc...

karon ako makit-an puro man T-Pain ug Young Buck. naa George Harrison bag-0 compilation. gonna buy it soon before they'll pull it out.

Maayo pa Music One sa Manila ila pa gi sale ang Rhythm Angels for only 250 hehehe infact fall 2008 pa na nga album

yep naa ko traveling wilburys na CD...

@countrykid.. wala na baligya dinhi ang traveling wilburys bai...

kita ko ana sauna mga late 80's to early 90's sa primrose.. wala pay sm anang panahuna dinhi sa Cebu..

di man pud ingon ana gyud sila ka ilado dinhi and to think limited ra pud ang copies sa traveling wilburys.. bisan sa states nihit kaayo..

naa baligya ana sauna pero wala sa SM..
