Ginseng is an effective fatigue fighter as there is abundant extensive research to prove its efficacy. Panax ginseng is one of the most commonly used and highly researched species of ginseng. This species, which is native to China, Korea, and Russia, has been an important herbal remedy in traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years, where it has been used primarily as a treatment for weakness and fatigue.
It acts on the pituitary and stimulates the adrenals, producing a balancing effect. This herb hastens the nervous reflexes, increasing analytical and overall mental performance, while diminishing fatigue. The constituents of ginseng are varied and complex, including polysaccharides and other sugar compounds, lipids and fatty acids, flavonoids, and alkaloids. Among the key ingredients are ginsenosides. Ginsenosides act through multiple channels, such as by altering blood flow to the brain and modifying the levels of neurotransmitters to the brain. It gives the instant alertness and thus keeping the brain function optimally.
CNI had added Ginseng to our coffee for taste enhancement. Although, amount added is way below therapeutic level, consumers have somehow enjoyed better stamina with our coffee.

Tongkat Ali is a tree native to the jungles of Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia. It is commonly known as Tongkat Ali in Malaysia and Singapore, Piak or Tung Saw in Thailand, and Pasak Bumi in Indonesia. The Tongkat Ali (Eurycoma Longifolia Jack) tree can grow up to about 12 meters in height. Natives consider every part of the tree as medicine. The roots of Tongkat Ali have been used as traditional medicine to treat Malaria. Tongkat ali is also promoted as a tonic and as an aphrodisiac.
In the past, Tongkat Ali roots had to be brewed for long hours to get a bitter extract. Now Tongkat Ali, which literally means Ali's cane, is packed in pill or tea-bag form and mixed with regular coffee or tea.
CNI has maintained a clear stand that Tongkat Ali is added to our coffee for taste enhancement and that we do not mislead our consumers with aphrodisiac claims that come with Tongkat Ali.
