dugay na sya nabantayan nyor... the problem is, ingon pa ni master beor, "old and rusted" na ang server.. huwat nalang ta ma upgrade ang server kay wala pa man ta ikaamot... hehehe

that's right.. we got an old rusty server and hopefully they (the administrators) can fix the problem.. hopefully they (or we) can raise enough funds para ma upgrade nani.. naa manta mga fund raising programs labi na kami mga taga gawas.. so hopefully maka tabang2x pud..

... my response to the first post: mura hilas kaayo ka paminawon bai... with what we are paying for the server, we can provide you with at least 7 DSL connections or feed 4 low-income families. Next time hinay hinay sa imong istorya bai... huna-huna-a ug tarong kung sakto ba nimo pagkasulti... we acknowledge the fact that our server is overloaded and we need an upgrade... problem is, we don't have any funds for such.

I don't know how many times we've answered this but the problem is not and never was the connection. The connection the server sits on is more than enough for istorya x 3. The problem is with the processor and memory. Each click any of you does needs to be processed live. Multiply that with hundreds of people on the boards at any given time ... and it adds up.

butang tana sad mo donation aron ijawat ma dsl windox.. a simple "why is Istorya connection slow?" would suffice. but you had to shove it down their (admin) throats, you had to go below the belt with those negative remarks. I doubt it if Istorya will even accept your donation now after all those nasty words were said and done, that is, if you ever pony up...

that's the biggest question there

besides, as vern says, there has been some discussions, suggestions etc why our connection is kinda slow.. if you have even tried to use the search feature or browse the pages for similar topics, dili na unta ka maka offend, worse si master pa..
