hey guys... my friend just got this old toshiba laptop it was a gift and when we wanted to install microsoft office in it, it won't read or even show the contents of the cd, it does not also read mp3 files burned in cds but it plays movies on dvd even the pirated ones nga kana daghan kaayu ug sulod... i'm really confused... help is much appreciated thank you...

i think codec ra kulang ana sir..try install winamp or other codecs..try also to update windows media player sa laptop..

use good quality brand of blanks, use slow burn rate.

since its old, try to use an external dvd player by that Im sure it will read the files na, if not, download KM player from the net, its free and it can play almost anything.
