Yah pwede ka select sa manual selection mode pero 1 raman iya ma select... gusto ta ko dili ra isa, 2 or more points ta ang iyang pwede ma select... kay kung mag auto mode cya pwede man cya daghan points i select pero dili ikaw mag buot sa points nga iya i select...

thanx sa ni reply... bt basin wala powers c canon ani... c nikon naa ani nga powers??

nikon users need ur inputs.. ty ty

i have canon 10D its way older than yours and yes you can select any dynamic focus points whichever you like but ISA lang ka point same thing with my old Nikon D100 as well as the newer models D80 and D90, i cant speak for the other models since those are the only bodies that i currently have, im pretty sure you can select any of the focus points with your camera but you know what i dont think you need more than one just go with the sweetest spot that you wanted to be sharp and let the others fade its more dramatic that way than having everything in focus..this was shot @ f1.4

for this shot i took yesterday i just focused on the dragonfly's eyes and most of its body were focused since i was aligned parallel to its body, if i go for auto focusing (more than one focus points) then it'll show ang lapok sa background and that kills the shot

but it you want everything to be sharp or more than one point of the subject to be focused then use smaller openings like f8 to f22 and everything will be in focused..this was shot @ f8

save yourself some time looking for it in the manual play with the settings and just shoot, ang ka nindot aning digital is that we have the freedom to make mistakes and if you dont like what you took delete lang, when i was in school pastilan out of the 36 shots may lang ug naay lima nga ayos and came out as what you have planned, so yeah thats my own opinion on your dilemma..hope wala ko gasamok2x and nakatabang ko even in the least significant way =)
