ngano nahan man ka i-duplicate imo sim bro? well, you run the risk of damaging your original card in the process of cloning it.

been playing with this for almost a decade na...

duplicating sim isnt as straight forward as some will lead you to believe...there is no system, device or software that works with every simcard in the philippines...none that ive found and tested...
its always a hit or miss deal...you'll also need a writable sim to copy the encrypted data.
reading the encrypted data of the original sim will take many hours.

fyi, copying phonebook data is simple...

btw, both sims can not work at the same time on two different phones...meaning if both sims are inserted in two different phones and both phones are on even though both have signal only one is active, the one that turned on the phone last...

di jud ni cya mo-work kay wala gi-design ang mga network para mo-support ani if gamiton ang sim at the same time...

ang main jud nga gamit ani niya kay para in case ma-snatch ang imo phone kuyog imo sim... so at least magamit pa gihapon nimu ang imo no.

anyway, nindot gihapon ni cya nga idea if naa makabuhat ani
magpaduplicate ko sa ako sim if pwede, basta pareha ra ug presyo if mopalit ka ug new sim... hehehe...

this is like printing memeograph with 10,000 prints vs 1 print...it can never be as cheap.
networks order hundreds of thousands of sims made at one batch. compared to just one order from one user. mass production baby.

new sims are subsidized because the network will make money everytime you load up.

one unsubsidized rewritable sim palang daan obviously cost much more (consider DVD-R vs DVD-RW price difference by a factor of 10x to 20x more expensive) not to mention hardware + software for the duplicating process cost thousands of pesos.

stamping/programing one sim takes seconds by there process.
consumer duplicating process takes many hours (almost a day depending on the speed of your computer and software+hardware combo) i used to charge 4,500 per duplication (back when network simcards used to cost 1,500 or so) went as low as 2,500 before i decided to quit considering one of my computers will be stuck processing that. matangong ang compuer making it not productive for the rest of the day. di pa gyud pwedi mabyaan coz of the prompts and the necessary human intervention throughout the process.

actually ang main use gyud ani is to have the ability to carry a dozen numbers in one sim. switching nalang
