palit ug printer w/ CISS dghan dnha-a sa buy n sell
Naka-agi nako ana nga printer with CISS. Way ayo gihapon if the printhead is on the printer.
When I get recommended printer with printhead on cartridge that's the time I'll get a CISS for that unit.
Blockages sa printhead man gud akong gi-avoid. Naa may mga cleaning agents to remove the blockages but it's not perfect. Dako gihapon ang chance nga your printer will be left useless because of the unremovable blockages sa printhead. If the printhead is on the cartridge or CISS, ang cartridge or CISS printhead unit lang akong pulihan dili ang printer. Do you get the point I'm getting at?
Edit/Add
To drive my point further:
Inkjet printer - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
For "Fixed head" or print head on printer
For "Disposable head" or print head on cartridgeOn the other hand, if the head is damaged, it is usually necessary to replace the entire printer.
This adds to the cost of consumables and makes it more difficult to manufacture a high-precision head at a reasonable cost, but also means that a damaged print head is only a minor problem: the user can simply buy a new cartridge

pardon for the late reply, was busy fixing computers.
indeed printer models with built-in heads inside the printer need big patience most of the time & must be frequently used. built-in printer heads specifically with epson(piezo electric technology) are superior in printing specially photographic gradients and details, they are used as well in huge industries in printing their valuable product's graphical packaging & ads. but they really need tender loving care, although they are engineered to last for a lifetime of the printer, they are very sensitive and prone to clog-ups that can give headaches. i have epson, canon, and hp(long dead/mechanical problem from normal wear&tear) printers. i love them all and they are great in lab-quality photo printing. epson just bring better details than canon and other brands. they cannot match even with their marketing picolitre shot size & high resolution(another marketing hype). i too, indeed experienced such headaches from epson's before that i want to throw away the printers by myself but now that i know how to take care of it, i realized they are really amazing. anyway, so much for that story.
if you haven't bought yet, get the common canon ip1980. very low cost but decent printout and good build. its downside is its not individualized colored cartridge.

Amazing!!! never thot ari ko kabalo bout inani...hehehe
Thanks Chipmunk886. Will google more about that model regarding it's printhead. As long as the printhead is on the cartridge, it's okay by me.
Edit:
So far the Canon IP1980 is looking good -> http://www.pinoydsl.net/viewtopic.php?p=255102#255102
