Default Goodbye eBay, here comes GBuy ................

    http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=32349

It is yet another small step for Google, on its road to world domination. Welcome to our new overlord...

hehehe thank God there is google

Ebay should have shivers in its spine...........

Ebay which owns paypal has been denying the service to me a resident of cebu city Philippines.

i can't transact with ebay since most sellers ask for paypal

so this is a great oppurtunity to do e-commerce where i am not hindered.............

    I love GOOGLE....

microsoft you are next on Google's List.............

Can a Philippine base citizen open a paypal account. How?

    # Snitch replied:

Well, there are no plans yet. But with eBay Philippines it seems rather inevitable. I suppose you could blame it for the scaredy fat cats called Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas who still wouldn’t open up our bank accounts, or maybe that Phil pesos is nothing more than ‘play money’: not worth a doo doo. I work for PayPal UK and I know the ins and outs so don’t ask me for more details.

i would like to open a paypal account in the philippines! How? Is there any?

    # Adonis Villamor replied:

Hmm.. The I guess it’s not yet gonna happen.. I checked and tried to make an account but they don’t have the philippines in their list. I guess the filipinos are disgusted by the whole world as the 2nd most corrupt, involved in terrorism and protect criminals, violating human rights and incapability to lead or even perform a task perfectly without surveilance.

Ebay hasn't given any OFFICIAL explanation so far on why paypal isn't available here in the Philippines

I think they are not giving any explanation because they didn't have to.... there is no competition out there

to me if I owned paypal i could have tied up with G-money with Globe or Smart-padala..... but I don't see any effort on their part

    and that sucks...........

GBUY should see the oppurtunities unlike the SELFISH ebay and paypal.............

    Go GBUY

Lets support Gbuy........ Ebay eat my shorts

Paypal does not make eBay. eBay will still exist without Paypal. Paypal is just a means of payment, nothing more. More than likely, sites like eBay will incorporate Google's new system.
