I'll keep it short and simple...

Intel - Intel Core i7 (nothing comes close) on Socket LGA1366 and uses DDR3 memory only.
AMD - Phenom II X4 945 and 955 (AM3 processors), DDR3 sad but if you put these procs on an AM2+ mobo, you can use DDR2 but take note that you cannot insert an AM2 processor (940 and below) in an AM3 socketed mobo because the number of pins don't match bisan balian pa nimo ug pins imong processor - mo work gihapon sa imong AM2 board pero dili jud sa AM3.
