iamik's Chicken & Beer is among the sponsors of the ongoing Exhibit/Symposium at UC - Mambaling Campus.

During our meetings before the event, i learned that some of the people involved in this project were also members of istorya.net. I humbly invite all istoryans to visit the exhibit @ UC Mambaling, this will be until Friday, July 3. We will also have an exhibit at SM City Cebu scheduled later this month.

The Mactan Channel Project is a coalition of very diverse organizations in metropolitan Cebu, namely St. Alphonsus Catholic School Class ’62, Cebu Mountaineering Alliance, eTelecare, SACS Alumni Association, Metrografix, iamik’s Chicken and Beer, and Amores Charities Inc. The Project aims to raise public awareness of the pollution of the Mactan Channel and its disastrous effect on the communities of Mactan and its surrounding islands.

The next stop is University of Cebu - Lapu-Lapu Mandue campus, to run the whole weekdays of July 6-10. Arrangements have been made for non-students to view the exhibits and participate in the symposia.
