wow WinRoute Pro is my very first router/firewall software on a Windows NT 4.0 Server in 1999.
it's easy to setup, just follow directions from the help file. if i was able to figure it out by myself in high school, i'm sure you can figure it out.

hi!
still need help with winroute??
that's the first "router" that i was able to really practice on...
winroute 6 is really cool..
you need to set the NAT enabled on the lan that is facing your local area network...
with regard to the policies(firewall side) if you're doing remote management or any other
advanced configurations. its like setting port forwarding and stuffs in a hardware router..
what is the version of winroute you're using?
i was using winroute 4 and 6..
i suggest you start with 4, really plain router software
winroute 6 already has firewall that really acts like a real hardware router..
enable the nat of the lan that's facing the computers, not the modem/wan..that's the main setup..
what else you want to know?
