ako kay last summer...i hold a pet therapy seminar with which i traveled with my rott chloe from cebu to davao via plane then via a v-hire van 2gether with my gf,this tym without a kennel crate,my dog is off leash inside the van with other passengers & us,most of which are scared & or doesnt like dogs.most of the tym i spend talking to other passengers & allowing my dog to perform in the most uncomfortable situation(which to my surprise,my dog gladly performed with the sight of her toy...while travelling, just so dat the other passengers & the driver would forget their fear of dogs..from davao to midsayap,cotabato (4hr trip)with passengers inside.then the next day,we travelled to midsayap to kabacan(1hr trip) also with a v-hire van & the same...'talking,convincing & performing' in front of not so dog friendly passengers..whew!then we travelled again from kabacan to davao...this tym with a bus!the driver wouldnt allow us in after seeing my dog,while the bus was still waiting for more passengers,what i & my gf did was to command my dog to sit & stay outside the bus (in the busy terminal)with us going inside first,& when the driver & conductor went outside to get some tickets & to pee also,i called in my dog towards the back seat of the bus & commanded her to lie down & be quiet(which she did the whole 3 hour trip).the driver & the conductor of that bus didnt even knew that there's a dog riding with them,to their surprise when we reached our destination when my dog passed thru in front of them towards the entrance door of the bus.
the following evening,i was scheduled to go home to cebu via a boat (its a 2 day trip coz it will still dock temporarily on surigao the next day after),the whole trip,i find myself still entertaining passengers with my dog,answering their questions,etc...they even mistook us for a k-9 team assigned to that vessel & told me that they never thought that a rottweiler be so friendly enough to work with lots of people & would even respond to kids (as long as they have her toy with them),we even have a showdown with that vessel's german shepherd sniffing dog named 'dimples'& her handler,just to entertain passengers during our temporary stay in surigao.we arrived in cebu 1am the following day,my friend bong fetch us at the pier.
now that's what i call a complete & 'unexpected' journey......i never thought i could do with a big 'scary' rottweiler dog..in a 'not so dog friendly' place....but everything can be outdone if you have the will & perseverance....and a big,scary,ball-crazy rottweiler!!!

fed my silver aro white mice sa una only to find out dako ra kaayo ang ilaga unya dili malamoy sa akong isda... Hangtod nga iya lang gilumsan ang ilaga... Death by drowning...
