    Default air france A330 crash

what could be your hypothesis regarding the crash of air france's A330? if im not mistaken, the plane was just 4 years old..that means the plane is still structurally durable and that the on board equipments are still of good condition...with the report that the plane was hit by lightning, i couldnt actually consider that as a good basis since planes nowadays and even older ones are built to withstand a lightning strike without or with slight damage only...

flight 447 is the flight number..... a330 is the kind of aircraft (airbus A330)

been following this news. there are a lot of theories going on about what happened to AF447.

terrorist attack -- no military movements despite a bomb threat received days before the flight schedule and no terrorist claims as well (yet, anyway).

meteorite? -- a possibility but virtually infinitesimal.

severe turbulence, now this i agree with. latest news says that the recovered tail is intact which means it was "ripped off" from the body before it went down or probably disintegrated. yes, hundreds of flights have crossed tropical storm complexes without serious incident, but then again AF447's flight plan aligned with weather reports indicate that it would have been flying through significant turbulence and thunderstorm activity for about 12 minutes of flight time. this could have triggered minor damage that progressed in some way into an emergency.

well, after researching more about thunderstorms, severe turbulence and wind shear could be a considerable cause regardless of a plane's age and structural strength of the airframe...winds inside thunderstorm clouds could be strong enuf to rip the plane off to pieces plus the fact that turbulence and wind shear inside thunderstorm clouds could come from any direction...
