J-Music Festival? Anyone Interested?

Right now I'm having a potential idea regarding J-music. This would have been better off in the music section but otakus will be the only ones to appreciate such an idea so I posted this here. Mods, please consider this.

Anyway, I'm planning a Japanese music festival, a one-shot event to showcase the talents of J-music loving individuals here in Cebu City. Professional bands, though their talents are appreciated, could join but I want to expose other less-known musicians to perform during the event.

However, this plan is still on the research stage. For now, I want to gauge how much support from the Cebuano anime community will this event garner. What do you think guys?

Guys, think about this. If this is pulled off, we can have as much muscle to request our favorite Japanese artists to come here. We can also use this as a fundraiser in the future but for now, the goal is to expose the support and the talents of the J-music community in Cebu so that the Japanese embassy as well as the companies that can sponsor our favorite artists will know that there is solid support for J-music here.

Thanks, miss shobie! We can work out a committee later on when we see that a lot of people are interested. This is just one of the many events that CIO-AMAGE has planned.... err, I planned but then I'm a co-founder of CIO-AMAGE so yeah.... that's it.

That's great news... We have a J-band ourselves (well, we're a band that sings j-rock hehe) and we'd love to join that event when it does push though.

Honestly, i have a j-band myself. 2 keyboards, 2 guitars, bass and drums. However, this band is for the Otaku Fest. I dunno about my members but I prefer to be behind the scenes on this scene or jam as vocalist in a few songs hahaha. But that's another story.
