    Default CPU Temp at 65C


    Bro,

    ask lang ko.. gamit nako stock HSF lang pero grabe man mo.init ang processor... sauna gamit ko ug E2140 dli man to kaabot ug 50C pero karon mo abot man ug 65C...

    pag-ilis nimo ug proc nag re-apply ka ug thermal paste or gi-recycle ra nimo ang existing paste?

    gubutangan nako bag-o bro... tx2 man guro to... then ako jud gi check na sakto jud pagkabutang ang hsf...

    between E2140 and E6600, E6600 is faster and is running at a faster frequency which may be the reason why temps are high.

    taasan ra gehapon ko, I can remember my Pentium D before that ran along the 60 degrees mark. Check again your HSF basin naa pin na wala na hugot.

    Also check fan, was it connected to the cpu fan pins and not to other 3 pin or 4 pin? check fan speed as well.

    there shouldn't be any problems with your temp but its always better to get low temperature.
