old school pero heavy. the '70s produced talented musicians who rely on their skills and not thru some electronic synthesizers like musicians do right now. kani sila bisa'g recording ug live pareho ra gihapon ang quality sa ilang performance. Deep Purple is one of my favorite bands and their best album ever is Machine Head. my favorite songs from them are "Smoke on the Water", "Highway Star", "Space Truckin", "Woman from Tokyo" and there are many more like the post-Ian Gillian ballad - "Soldier of Fortune".

actually during 60's...70's...naa mga rock/psychedelic/jazz/blues bands naggamit ug synthesizers/electric organ...which nga nakapahimo sikat sa ilang tukar....kini nga panahon newly discovered nila sa synthesizers/electric organ ug ilang gi intergrate sa ilang music....ang hammond organ. also atung own local band na JDLC nigamit pud...wala sila ka iskapo na "bagong intrument"...naa some songs nila nga aided with keyboards hehe.

ang highway star ky nindot kau paminawon kung naa ko sa byahe daun kusog mupadalagan ang driver...smoke on the water is the first song ako nasepra of deep purple songs.

Smoke On The Water was the most popular guitar riff of all time. cannot argue about it. Deep Purple yeah!!!!

the song Burn is also a kick ass song..
David Coverdale is also one of my favorite vox sa Purple and of kors
Ian Gillan was always the best..
pero nahupas na si Ian Gillan karon.. while si David Coverdale payter gihapon kaayo walay kupas..
